I've not really been feeling up to writing (typing) much the last couple of days, so apologies for that, but I thought I would share with you a few blooper videos from classic films. I've been laughing so hard at these, especially the Bette Davis ones - oh em gee, did she have a sense of humour!
Warning: There is some rather strong language (especially from Bette!) in this video!
My favourite is definitely the scene with Errol and Bette in The Sisters...
Bette: I can't take any chances now...
Errol: Chances? What's all the emergency about?
Bette: I've just had a baby in the ladies room.
*everyone dissolves in fits of laughter*
...and the award for the most adorable blooper-ess (even though it wasn't her fault!) definitely goes to Eleanor Parker in The Voice of the Turtle! It's positively one of the most adorable thing I've seen! ♥
This video is specifically just Bette Davis bloopers, but oh my are they hilarious! I've watched it over and over :')
The next video is the first of 3...
There are more, but I just thought I'd share a few of my favourites! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do - quite honestly, how could you not!? :D
Finally, a little something I've been working on for the last few days. I've never made a "music video" before, so it's all new to me - and it could definitely be a hundred times better! However, I think it's ok for a first attempt! As soon as I heard the song - Sweetest Surprise - last week, for the first time in quite a while, I was like "Have to make a Random Harvest video with this song!". I just couldn't get it out of my head until I'd made it!
I spent a good 15 minutes last night telling my Mum the plot of Random Harvest (I even sang part of She's Ma Daisy!), and at the end I said "You really need to see it!" - yeah, if I hadn't just spoilt it all for her! :')
Anyway, I'll tootle off now - rather excitedly, I must add, because I just found Desire Me on youtube! I've been looking for that film for aaaages, so I'm so excited that I've finally found it! God bless the lovely person who uploaded it! :')
Oh, but before I go...
Happy 59th birthday to Anjelica Huston! She's one of the few non-Golden Age actresses I can stand! (:
